Bullett is a 3 year old chihuahua. He was literally shot and currently has a bullet lodged in his spine. The veterinarians have determined that it can not be removed, so his condition will be permanent..He is a very sweet young dog, very quiet and easy to love. He does require his bladder be expressed several times a day and he must be kept dry and wrapped to prevent skin irritations. He does have wheelchair but it's use must be very limited and is is not ideal for in home use. He is otherwise a healthy dog. His adoption fee is $150 , He is neutered, UTD, Microchipped, nd has had his teeth cleaned. Bullet is looking for a stay at home parent to tend to his needs. It is very much like caring for an infant. Applicants who are familiar with dogs with special needs need only apply. No households with children.
Klaus is a 10 year old,16 pound male Japanese Chin. He can be very sweet and friendly. Klaus has a personality that takes a bit of time to fully understand. He would do best as an only dog as he sometimes likes to assert his dominance and can be possessive of things and people. Klaus has an unfailing love and loyalty to his person while he does prefer women to men and if the right man knows how to interact with him he will do well. He is potty trained, neutered, microchipped and UTD. His adoption fee is $150.

To prospective adopters;
It is true rescuers are more particular of who they adopt dogs too. We see all the horrible treatment of animals every day. We literally rescue dogs from the poor or abusive treatment of humans. In my personal opinion, society has evolved to where owning a dog is a right and privilege. Most people consider only what they want and not what is right for the dog. That is why once a dog is in our hands and consequently in our hearts, we make sure that anyone who adopts an animal from us has a good life to offer the dog. It is not an easy task. Everyone wants a dog. We try to screen people first before getting too involved with helping them find a dog, or we would be simply selling dogs. We are also a strictly a volunteer organization. Most of us work at least part time jobs. Our time to the rescue is valuable and limited. We believe that anyone who is sincerely a wonderful potential adopter, will endure the process.
