Dusty, 12 years old 18 pounds.He spent 6 years in a shelter and happy to be free. He is slowly learning to be a dog and that people are good. He doesn't hve a lot of social skills, but is not aggressive. He is food motivated . He is not potty trained, but he is very smart and we are working on that. We do supply a belly band for training purposes. He also has significant hair loss on his body. We are hoping that will come back. Dusty has had a rough way to go and needs a special someone to pamper him the rest of his days.His adoption fee is $150. He is UTD, microchipped and has has a dental.
Hailey is a 6 year old Terrier mix. She weights 7.8 pounds. She is shy at first but then extremely full of sugar. She was riddled with flees at one point to the point of hair loss. So it looks like she had a difficult past. She was adopted and returned twice. She is noted to be an alarm bell when strangers come around had bitten the ankles of the children. She needs a quiet home with not a lot of traffic, and definitely no children. She is fully vetted and she will have a full dental before she is adopted. Her adoption fee is $275.
3 yr. old male, 35 pounds. Sheltie mix may have some chow in him. He has black spots on his tongue. He may show kennel aggression or when overwhelmed. At home he is sweet, social, potty trained, and good with all dogs. He has not been cat tested, but I believe he would be fine. Because he did show aggression at the shelter, no families with children please. Generally sweet and lovable, eager to roll over for belly rubs. This guy will make someone an awesome companion.
Halle Berry, !-2 year old chihuahua mix, 6 pounds, She is very sweet and social, but timid at first. She loves to cuddle and be held. She is Spayed, UTD, Microchipped, and heartworm tested. Her adoption fee is $275. No small children please.

Bullett is a 3 year old chihuahua. He was literally shot and currently has a bullet lodged in his spine. The veterinarians have determined that it can not be removed, so his condition will be permanent..He is a very sweet young dog, very quiet and easy to love. He does require his bladder be expressed several times a day and he must be kept dry and wrapped to prevent skin irritations. He does have wheelchair but it's use must be very limited and is is not ideal for in home use. He is otherwise a healthy dog. His adoption fee is $150 , He is neutered, UTD, Microchipped, nd has had his teeth cleaned. Bullet is looking for a stay at home parent to tend to his needs. It is very much like caring for an infant. Applicants who are familiar with dogs with special needs need only apply. No households with children.
Dexter is possibly Charlie’s brother. Charlie looks Spaniel/ Chihuahua but Dexter looks more Jack Russell/chi? He is also a year and a half old and they were surrendered to a shelter together. They were terrified in jail so they were relinquished to us. They are not bonded, in fact sometimes Charlie will start a fight with Dexter, so we are adopting them out separate. Dexter is extremely sweet. He is timid but he’s very loving. He has not figured out the pet door yet but does follow us all out to potty. The white speck on his face is just his coloring. It is not a tooth, but it’s still adorable. He will be neutered, UTD, and microchipped next week. His adoption fee is $275.

To prospective adopters;
It is true rescuers are more particular of who they adopt dogs too. We see all the horrible treatment of animals every day. We literally rescue dogs from the poor or abusive treatment of humans. In my personal opinion, society has evolved to where owning a dog is a right and privilege. Most people consider only what they want and not what is right for the dog. That is why once a dog is in our hands and consequently in our hearts, we make sure that anyone who adopts an animal from us has a good life to offer the dog. It is not an easy task. Everyone wants a dog. We try to screen people first before getting too involved with helping them find a dog, or we would be simply selling dogs. We are also a strictly a volunteer organization. Most of us work at least part time jobs. Our time to the rescue is valuable and limited. We believe that anyone who is sincerely a wonderful potential adopter, will endure the process.
